AI Governance & Deployment

The most useful AI in an organisation is rarely a new tool

Most organisations approach AI by rolling out an off-the-shelf tool: into every mailbox, an AI feature bolted onto the CRM, a chat interface over a document store. The tool works and the organisation feels modern. But the systems that actually run the business, for example, the ERP, the ticketing system, the case management platform, and the finance system, still can't talk to each other, and the value stays locked in the same silos it was in before.

That approach doesn't reach the potential most organisations are sitting on: the connections between systems.

The most useful AI in an organisation is rarely a new tool. It's an agent that acts across the tools already in place, reading what the ERP knows, combining it with what the case management system knows, checking it against what the compliance team has already assessed, and doing something useful with the combined picture.

Getting there is a governance decision as much as a technical one: deciding what the agent is for, who's accountable when it acts, what evidence exists that it did what it was supposed to do, and what happens when it doesn't. The EU AI Act is one input to those decisions, so is the technology, and neither is the whole answer.

AI Governance & Deployment

Getting there

Njordium designs and deploys agentic AI that links data across your existing systems, governed and compliant from the design stage.

Agentic AI deployment

Designing and building AI agents that connect across your systems, such as ERP, case management, ticketing, document store, and CRM. The agent does the work that only makes sense once the data is combined: reconciling, correlating, deciding, and acting. The result is capability the individual systems can't deliver on their own, without replacing any of them.

AI strategy and governance

Deciding where AI can be an advantage in your organisation, and defining the governance framework it requires, covering aspects such as risk appetite, roles and accountability from board level down, and the operating model that connects governance decisions to how AI is used.

EU AI Act compliance

The regulatory half of that governance work. Advisory on meeting the regulation as it applies to your organisation: risk classification of AI systems, conformity assessment, provider and deployer obligations, technical documentation, and the ongoing evidence obligations that follow.

Ongoing operation and improvement

Agentic AI drifts in ways traditional software does not. Models update, connected systems change beneath the agent, permissions accumulate, and a system that had governance sign-off months ago is doing things no one has re-authorised. The work is to catch that drift before it becomes an incident, keep the compliance evidence aligned with what the system actually does, and treat every change in the environment as a governance event rather than a maintenance ticket.

What an engagement looks like

Every engagement starts with understanding what you want to achieve. From there, the form depends on where you are.

If you're deciding what to do

A short strategy engagement: what AI is worth doing here, what isn't, what governance you'll need, and what the path from decision to production actually looks like.

If you're building or deploying

Agent design across the systems in scope, with governance and compliance addressed from the beginning, human accountability built in where required, and operational routines to maintain the agent after handover.

If you're already running AI

A review of what's deployed against what's governed. Where the gap matters, we close it. Where governance is retrospectively rationalising deployment decisions, we say so.

If you're preparing for the AI Act

Risk classification, provider and deployer role clarity, conformity assessment support, technical documentation, and the ongoing evidence programme.
