Financial & Payment Compliance
Compliance, Sustained Over Time
Financial regulation and payment security standards exist to keep transactions safe and keep trust intact between businesses and the people who rely on them. Knowing the requirements is one thing, while applying them correctly is what leads to compliance.
Njordium works with the directives that govern this space, principally the Payment Services Directive (PSD) and the PCI family of standards, and applies that understanding directly to how your business operates.
Njordium's starting point is how the business actually operates today: its processes, risk exposure, and existing controls. From there, the approach continues through to implementation, so compliance is sustained over time rather than only on the day of assessment.

Meeting the Requirements
PSD sets the requirements for how payment services operate: strong authentication, risk management, and open banking capabilities that require organisations to balance security with user accessibility.
PCI-DSS protects cardholder data across storage, processing and transactions. PCI-PIN covers the security of PIN-based transactions specifically, and PCI-MPOC addresses accepting card payments on ordinary commercial devices rather than dedicated payment terminals.
Njordium’s consultants collaborate with you to evaluate current state, define customised implementation strategies, including how to sustain compliance with these standards over time.
